The Rescue Mission
Fort Wayne, IN // fwrm.org
Founded in 1903, The Rescue Mission is a faith-based, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, providing restorative care to men, women, and children experiencing a homeless crisis. Their Mission is to provide, through the power of Jesus Christ, a home for the homeless, food for the hungry, and hope for their future.
Homelessness is more familiar than you think, in our community alone over 3,000 individuals live on the streets, sleep in cars, crash with friends or family, or exist on the brink of eviction or foreclosure. These forgotten neighbors desperately need our help and at The Rescue Mission, these are the individuals they serve.
These individuals need your help more than ever, with a rise in mental illness, many of these individuals go unnoticed or ignored. Your help gives these neighbors in need hope and a place to turn for that hope. By supporting The Rescue Mission, you are doing so much to help those in your community go from barely surviving, to thriving!
